How much watts or the electricity measurement unit does a computer and two LCD monitors use?
So I’m moving into a new house and I’m not quite sure what the measurement unit is for electricity (watts right?). Well I think we have 1500 of something available in terms of electricity and I’m curious how much two 21″ LCD monitors and a desktop computer would take up monthly if they were left on probably about 18 hours a day?
Would it be a significant amount?
Ok so maybe 1500 isn’t right. I don’t have my facts straight I don’t really know much about any of this I’m just curious how much power in however many units it’s measured in do these components use. I’ll have to find out the actual whatever it might be for the house limit again though.

you only have 1500 watts available to run an entire house?
If P=I/E and P=1500, and typical house voltage (E) is 120
Then 1500 = I/120 or I= 12.5 Amps for an entire house??
If that is true, then you would barely have any power left over after powering your computer, let alone the lamp on the desk next to it…
You need to take another look at what you are trying to do, and make sure you have your terms right…
